Overview
Following a merger of equals, both organizations agreed that a new name and brand would be the most effective way to drive success.

The StellarOne name was devised using internal and external research, and a rigorous filtering process. Both the name and logo communicate strength, community, and exceptional service. In addition to new signage and corporate letterhead, this brand was established online, in the media, both TV and print, and on in-lobby merchandising. Sales tools such as a personal, business and wealth management brochure were also developed to communicate the new brand, as well as an information-packed corporate profile.
