Privacy Policy

2010

At Mills Financial Marketing (MFM) we are committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and take all reasonable steps to protect all data and information supplied to us. In our continuing commitment to provide our clients with the level of confidence and trust they have grown to expect, the following privacy guidelines have been established.

Information Collection and Use

We collect and retain nonpublic personal information about you/your organization when we believe that the information will help us to protect and administer your account; comply with certain laws and regulations; design or improve our products/services/website; understand your marketing and planning needs; and to market our products and services to you. We may collect and retain information about your customers or employees when conducting or coordinating mailing/emailing projects or research on your behalf as directed.

We will never share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties for their promotional use. Occasionally, we enter into contracts with third parties so they can assist us in servicing you. These parties are prohibited from using your personal information for their own purposes, and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

We do not disclose any nonpublic or personal information about you or your customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. If you decide to discontinue your relationship with Mills or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described.

Security

Keeping your nonpublic information secure is a top priority for us. When clients send information to us directly we encourage them to send it password encrypted. Confidential information that is sent directly to MFM via the internet is stored at our location in a secured area of our firewall protected server. Our Mac platform server offers inherent security features and access is not publicly available. When we (or our client) upload email lists to the eMarketing system they are routed through a dedicated firewall to a secure server. All web-accessible data stored there are housed in a proprietary, closed architecture and 256-bit encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) authentication.

Ownership and Disposition of Materials

All artwork and campaign materials which are produced for your organization shall also be the property of MFM. Either party may reproduce these materials without permission of the other. Research reports are considered property of the client. However, when promoting research, MFM may use non-identifiable pages or sample charts from the research report as case studies.
