Becki Drahota’s first role was as an account manager for a large marketing firm, and her primary client just happened to be a financial institution. After a number of years, she decided to relocate back to Iowa to start a family, and when she attempted to transition that client to another manager, they respectfully declined – and suggested she start a firm in Iowa and that they’d be her first client. So she did. That was in 1975, and Mills Marketing has since grown from a one-woman show, to more than 20 team members, two locations, and clients in every time zone.
